A Glimpse into my world

Hi. I am Nawal, a researcher and photographer. I am from Kashmir, where most of my work is based. Currently, I am a PhD scholar of Human Geography in Durham University, UK. But once I was also a journalist and an independent researcher working on different themes with several organisations. Much before that I was into social sector and advocacy, which took me to different places to witness different worlds.

My expertise lie in ethnography, oral histories, and photography.
